The
Roberts Glass & Service Story
Roberts Glass is a family owned company. Founded by Dale Roberts,
who has passed leadership of the company to his son Ted Roberts.
Dale
Roberts has been in the window and glass business for over
50 years, and continues to play a vary active part in the
day to day operations as the company’s CEO. Ted Roberts
continuing in his fathers foot steps, is now the companies
President. Together, this father-son team, a knowledgeable
sales team and a management team with over 100 years experience
dealing in commercial and residential glass, windows, doors
and storefront replacements has built the company’s
reputation to one of the most respected distributors of windows
and glass products in the industry.
Our
company serves Indianapolis and surrounding counties. Our
willingness to be versatile and not limit ourselves has and
continues to add to our growing success.
Our
Staff
No
company can run well without their strongest asset, the back
bone of the company. Who am I talking about? Their support
staff. We have four ladies in the office that do an excellent
job of keeping it all together.
Terri
Messersmith - Our Office Manager, has been with
Dale & Ted for the past 3 years.
Her responsibilities include but are not limited to H.R.,
Payroll, accounting and phone support.
Elaine
McCorkle - Is the lady at the front desk, she answers
the phone, meets and greets walk-in customers, sorts the
daily mail, sends out UPS packages, makes collection calls
and assists Terri in daily accounting procedures. Elaine
has been with Roberts Glass for 2 ½ years. And is
a wonderful addition to the Roberts family.
Lynn
Kellar - Single handedly assists in coordinating
all aspects of our Commercial Division. and let me tell
you that is no easy task. She also serves as
phone support. Lynn has been with Dale and Ted for the past
8 years.
Bev
Dillback - Has been with Dale and Ted for 6 years.
Bev serves as support to our residential division as well
as heads up our installed sales program. She handles all
of the Marketing that Roberts does throughout the year and
she also, serves as phone support.
Although,
their daily tasks are vastly different, they do a great job
of keeping things orderly and moving in the right direction.

Customer
Service
By
having a strong support staff in place. It helps keep customer
service issues at a minimum. Having someone here in the office
the customer can call and speak to, instead of leaving a voice
mail. Means in most cases, a faster response time. And, most
issues get resolved the same day. We as a company have always
been committed to customer satisfaction. We continue to put
procedures in place that are focused on customer satisfaction.
We encourage our customers to offer comments about their experience
with Roberts Glass we take the good, bad or indifferent feed
back and use it as a tool to improve and get better. We will
only reach the highest level of customer satisfaction by communicating
with YOU, our customer.
Service
Dan
Hoff - Heads up our residential service department.
He is responsible for receiving, coordinating, delivering
& servicing all our residential products. Dan has been
with Dale & Ted for 16 years. Dan is somewhat of a Jack
of all trades and wears many hats here at Roberts. Because
of the long association Dan has with the Roberts family he
is able to step in to virtually any position if the need presents
its self. He is truly an asset to this company.
Sales
Our
residential sales team, in my opinion is one of the best I
have seen. Self-sufficient and independent. They are all real
go getters. There is no need for hand holding or baby sitting
here. Each one is a self-starter. Working independently to
maintain the integrity of our existing accounts and to bring
in new customer accounts. We currently have 3 representatives
in residential sales. They are as follows.
Bruce
Banta, Pat McNeal, and Donavon Box
Purchasing
Probably
the least glamorous not to mention the most behind the scenes
position. Yet one of key importance. These individuals are
the most knowledgeable, and most exact. Careful to take their
time to make sure each order is correct. It is time consuming
and tedious but we have two individuals who step up to the
challenge and they are Dan Hoff and Bev Dillback.
Commercial
We
have five key individuals in our commercial division. Dan
King the companies Vice-President. Who, as I understand it,
not only coordinates daily glazier schedules but does a fair
amount of selling as well. Lynn who we have already mentioned,
Ed Barnes and Stuart Mazura are our commercial estimators.
Ed and Stuart are responsible for putting together the bid
packages for large and small commercial bid requests. Phil
Hoff has been with Roberts Glass for 11 years as a commercial
glazier but has just recently taken on the challenge of supporting
our commercial estimating team by assisting in the estimating
process. Phil is a welcome addition to our estimating division.
And last but not least Jamie Volz is our Commercial Technical
Field Supervisor. Insuring customer satisfaction on the commercial
side is just as important as on the residential side.
Field
and Warehouse Employees
These
are the guys that build it, deliver it, install it and service
it. They are the movers and shakers that make it all come
together in the field whether it be commercial or residential.
The behind the scene workers that rarely get the recognition
they so rightly deserve. We are truly proud of each and everyone
one of them.
In
Closing
This
has been a brief introduction into our company, some of the
departments and their functions and some of the individuals
that help make up those departments. We hope in the future
to continue to broaden your look into our company and our
